Protecting Argentina’s most vulnerable forests before they’re lost.
Protecting Argentina’s most vulnerable forests before they’re lost.

Vision Net Zero turns threatened forest into permanently protected areas. In Argentina’s Yungas, we acquire forest before it’s lost and transfer it into the national park system, safeguarding carbon stores and biodiversity, and we support the local communities.

24,000 ha, protected for good
In Salta and Jujuy, Vision Net Zero and our partner Fundación Banco de Bosques are protecting 24,000 hectares of native Yungas forest adjacent to El Rey National Park. Of this, 14,000 hectares have already been donated to the Province of Jujuy as the new Provincial Park ‘La Reina’ in 2025. The project has been financed through a REDD+ carbon project, with first credits expected in late 2026. Discussions are now underway to integrate the remaining area into the El Rey National Park.
Whether you’re a foundation, a partner organization, or simply curious, we’d love to hear from you.
Are you a carbon investor and interested in purchasing carbon credits from the Las Lauras project? Get in touch, and we’ll be happy to discuss the options.
